About Khidja
Khidja is a production and DJ duo from Bucharest, Romania that have been creative partners for 20 years. Opposite personalities that modulate into one entity. In more recent periods they felt the urge to transpose themselves into a different octave enforced by more wonderful machines that accurately represent their musical taste today.
Part of the production stays true to their love for records made in the past, when music was created by people who had studied their instrument for a lifetime and part of it explores new areas, in quite the opposite corner: Soundscape composing, modern electronics, rare one hit wonders, new wave, industrial, house and techno. Their DJ sets will be nothing short of this. Their live performances will involve working multiple machines to recreate their tracks live and part of the show will be improvised.
